You Can Enlist A Fellow "Winter Soldier"
In Your Fight!
Robert
Franklin Howell has been an attorney for 30 years and
has the experience you need to win your veterans
disability case. While there are undoubtedly many other
attorneys who also have the technical competence to represent you,
Robert is a veteran who has stood in your shoes, both in service in
the military and in seeking just compensation for his disabililty
from the Veterans Administration. If he can accept your case,
Robert will fight hard for your benefits because he has a
personal and immediate understanding of what your
struggle means to you and your family. Robert does all of the
legal work himself, and does not delegate legal research or
analysis to junior attorneys, law students, secretaries or
paralegals. Robert therefore limits the number and types of cases
that he accepts, so that each client can receive his personal
attention and maximum effort.
The credo
of the Howell Law Firm is to honor and serve the his
fellow veterans. In 1776 the Revolutionary War
patriot Thomas Paine authored a booklet which similarly
honored those who selflessly chose to serve their Country, rather
than shrink from service. George Washington ordered these words
from the booklet to be read to his
troops, as they prepared to cross the frozen Delaware River in
the midst of a blizzard to launch a surprise attack
against the British the following morning:
"These are
the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine
patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their
country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of
man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we
have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the
more glorious the triumph."
You -- the disabled
veterans who have given of their youth, blood, sweat and tears in
the service of our Country rather than hide behind student
deferments and "trick knees" -- are the men and women who
answered their country's call in time of need, and served it well.
You are the "winter soldiers" who are owed a debt from their fellow
citizens and their government that can never be fully repaid,
and who at a minimum deserve the modest monetary
compensation for disabilities that you incurred because
of your commitment and sacrifice. Robert Franklin Howell paid the same price and gave the
same service as have you, and his law practice is devoted to
serving the needs of disabled "winter soldiers," and
to recovering at least that small monetary portion of the
debt which our Country and fellow citizens owes to
them.
